HCA Panels Ltd are manufacturers of bespoke composite panels and infill panels, predominantly for use in the lift industry. Located in Andover, Hampshire, we are able to produce galvanised steel, stainless steel, plastisol and aluminium composite panels, as well as customised composite panel systems.
About Us
HCA Panels’ knowledge and skill at manufacturing our composite panels has improved with an investment in new premises, with additional tooling, production capability and staff.
HCA Panels can offer panels on a contract specific basis or standard 2500 x 1250 sheets, with thicknesses ranging from 10mm upwards. We can deliver products using either one of our own vehicles or via a pallet distribution network.
Composite Panels
Our composite panels are formed to the highest quality, and can be produced in a range of materials, including aluminium, galvanised steel, stainless steel and plastisol with both sides similar or dissimilar. Main applications include infill panels, curtain walling and specific U-value requirements.
For panels that need to be more hard-wearing, the use of Polyester Powder Coated Aluminium or Steel is a cost-effective way of producing composite panels that will not only look great but also offer durability. The endless colour choice and versatility of polyester powder coated aluminium or steel make this an ideal product to meet individual specifications.

Outer Skin
Outer skin .4 galvanized sheet fully degreased and full conversion pre-treatment system, followed by exterior grade polyester powder finish 60 to 80 microns, colour specified by customer.
The panel is protected with strippable plastic coating for added protection during transit.
Inner Core
Fire retardant extra high density polystyrene, metal to polystyrene water resistant adhesive
Panel Thickness
Overall thickness of panels to customer specification
Alternative Systems
Outer skin, stainless, aluminium, zintec or other product to thickness required.
Inner core can be polystyrene, Styrofoam, or other composite product available.

Customised Panels
After considerable research into the technical requirements of composite panels, HCA Group of companies have introduced and are supplying – predominantly to the lift industry – a new superior quality range of panels to suit individual customer requirements, with the below additional benefits.
Production can be tailored to customers’ individual delivery requirements; i.e. weekly Kan Ban or monthly schedule in addition to panels packed to accommodate individual lift requirements, reducing additional handling by customers.
- Panels can be customised to individual size, thicknesses and finishes.
- HCA standard panels are constructed with .4 galvanised sheet steel, fire retardant extra high density polystyrene inner core and water resistant polyurethane adhesive applied under pressure with a polyester powder coated finish. This superior galvanised and powder coated system is very suitable for exterior systems.
- The highly durable polyester powder finish can be formulated to customer colour and finish requirements to blend with all other elements of the lift, giving harmony throughout the inner compartment and surrounding area. Other combinations of colour and finish for specific contract requirements are available as options. These can be mirror or brushed stainless, powder coated or straight galvanised.
- Overall panel thickness can be from approx. 10 millimetres upwards
- Panels can be either flush flange or other configuration
- HCA are able to provide a cut down panel service
