HCA Coating was recently approached to help with the finishing on some heavy duty agricultural equipment. The customer was having the product finished by the manufacturer but was having issues with inconsistent finishing quality.

Right from the initial meeting, HCA felt that our PZ Approval from Akzo Nobel would offer the perfect finishing solution for the robust nature of the product. HCA asked Akzo Nobel to provide all of the coating detail direct to the customer. We then processed three sample sets of product to show the high standard of finish that could be achieved. These sets were done free of charge and in a short lead time.

The customer was immediately impressed with the quality and service and after a quality audit was undertaken, HCA began to powder coat the units. HCA are now processing a full artic load per week. We have also helped reduce the handling of the product by allowing the artic to delivery directly to HCA.
